The Person Behind The Mission
Who I Am
My name is Daria.
I am a qualified physiotherapist and have over 10 years of experience working as a professional nanny. Alongside my professional background, I have first-hand experience of neurodiversity through a very close family member who is autistic.
These experiences have shaped how I understand support – not as good intention alone, but as structure, consistency, and alignment with each child’s needs.
Over the years, I have seen how profoundly the right adult can stabilise a child – and how destabilising the wrong match can be.
I work fluently in English, Polish, and Spanish which allows me to support a wider range of families and childcare professionals across London.

Why I Built SteadySteps
Families of neurodivergent and SEND children are often left navigating complex childcare decisions while already carrying significant emotional and practical pressure. I built SteadySteps to help shift that responsibility.
Rather than prioritising speed or availability, SteadySteps focuses on careful judgment, clear standards, and thoughtful preparation before any placement begins.
Every decision is guided by one priority: the long-term stability and well-being of the child and the entire household.
Careful preparation and clear expectations help protect the child, the family, and the nanny, allowing placements to begin with a stronger foundation of trust and understanding.
SteadySteps exists because childcare decisions for neurodivergent and SEND children carry real and lasting impact.
