Last Updated: 11 February 2026

SteadySteps by Daria is a sole trader business operating in England and Wales.

This Decision Reset Service Agreement (“Agreement”) sets out the terms under which SteadySteps by Daria (“SteadySteps”, “we”, “us”) provides a one-off structured decision-support session.

By proceeding with payment and/or booking confirmation, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement.

This Agreement operates in conjunction with the SteadySteps Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. In the event of any conflict, this Agreement shall prevail in relation to the Decision Reset Service.

1. Nature of the Service

The Decision Reset Session is a one-time, 60-minute structured consultation designed to:

  • Clarify your child’s practical and emotional support needs
  • Define non-negotiables for future childcare
  • Identify patterns from previous placements
  • Reduce the risk of repeated decision-making errors
  • Establish structured criteria for safer future hiring

This session provides structured advisory guidance only.

The Decision Reset Session does not include:

  • Nanny search or introductions
  • Candidate vetting or screening
  • Ongoing support
  • Follow-up sessions
  • Employment advice
  • Legal advice
  • Safeguarding investigations
  • Placement guarantees

No ongoing advisory relationship is created by this session.

2. Advisory Scope and Professional Boundaries

The Decision Reset Session is a structured consultation service.

It does not constitute:

  • Therapy
  • Medical advice
  • Clinical assessment
  • Legal consultation
  • Employment consultancy

Any implementation of guidance discussed during the session remains the sole responsibility of the client.

SteadySteps does not assume responsibility for decisions made before, during, or after the session.

3. Fee and Payment

The fee for the Decision Reset Session is £200.

Full payment is required in advance to confirm booking.

The session will not be scheduled until payment is received.

Fees reflect structured professional time and preparation and are not contingent on outcome.

4. Credit Toward Placement

If the client proceeds with the full SteadySteps Placement Service within fourteen (14) calendar days of the Decision Reset Session, £150 may be credited toward the £800 placement fee.

This credit:

  • Is valid for 14 calendar days only
  • Is non-transferable
  • Cannot be exchanged for cash
  • Cannot be applied after the expiry period
  • Does not reserve placement availability

After 14 days, the credit expires automatically.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

If the client cancels more than 24 hours before the scheduled session, the session may be rescheduled once.

Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled session may result in forfeiture of the full session fee.

Failure to attend the scheduled session without notice constitutes forfeiture.

If SteadySteps must reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, an alternative date will be offered.

6. No Guarantee of Outcome

The Decision Reset Session provides structured advisory guidance only.

SteadySteps does not guarantee:

  • Specific placement outcomes
  • Improved childcare arrangements
  • Candidate compatibility
  • Behavioural changes
  • Reduction of household stress

Outcomes depend on implementation, external factors, and future market conditions.

7. Client Responsibility

Clients agree to provide honest, accurate, and complete information regarding:

  • Child needs
  • Behavioural patterns
  • Household dynamics
  • Previous childcare experiences
  • Safeguarding concerns

The quality and relevance of guidance depends on the accuracy of information provided.

SteadySteps shall not be responsible for outcomes based on incomplete or inaccurate disclosure.

8. Confidentiality and Data Protection

All personal, medical, behavioural, and household information shared during the session will be handled in accordance with the SteadySteps Privacy Policy.

Information will not be disclosed to third parties except:

  • Where required by law
  • Where safeguarding obligations apply

Clients agree not to record the session without prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SteadySteps shall not be liable for:

  • Decisions made by the client following the session
  • Outcomes resulting from implementation of guidance
  • Employment arrangements entered into independently
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses

The total liability of SteadySteps in connection with the Decision Reset Session shall not exceed the £200 session fee.

Nothing in this Agreement limits liability where it cannot legally be excluded.

10. Termination

SteadySteps reserves the right to terminate or decline the session if:

  • False or misleading information is provided
  • The client behaves inappropriately or abusively
  • Safeguarding concerns arise requiring referral

In such cases, refunds are at SteadySteps’ discretion.

11. Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties relating to the Decision Reset Service and supersedes any prior discussions, representations, or understandings.

12. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
