Permanent Nanny Placement

REGISTRATION FEE

Services designed for families seeking a full-time or part-time permanent nanny.

This fixed-fee service includes:

  • Structured family intake
  • Candidate screening and vetting
  • Supported trial placement
  • One replacement if agreed standards are not met
  • Matching guided by the SteadySteps SEND Fit Standard (typically 2–8 weeks depending on complexity and candidate availability)
  • Childcare fees are paid separately to the Nanny
  • You are the employer

Occasional Childcare Membership

SteadySteps Membership provides families with access to a carefully vetted network of nannies suitable for ad-hoc, evening, weekend, and holiday childcare.

FLEX ACCESS 

REGISTRATION FEE £120  per year

Designed for families who need childcare occasionally.

Includes:

  • Access to the SteadySteps vetted nanny network
  • Matching and coordination handled by SteadySteps
  • Families hire and pay nannies directly
  • £25 coordination fee for each additional confirmed booking
  • Membership valid for 12 months
  • T&C apply

PRIORITY MEMBERSHIP

REGISTRATION FEE £200  per year

Designed for families who book more frequently.

Includes:

  • Access to the SteadySteps vetted nanny network
  • Matching and coordination handled by SteadySteps
  • Families hire and pay nannies directly
  • Unlimited bookings with no coordination fees
  • Membership valid for 12 months
  • T&C apply

It does not guarantee nanny availability for specific dates or times, as nannies manage their own schedules independently.

Membership is intended for occasional childcare needs. Families seeking regular or ongoing nanny arrangements may be directed to the SteadySteps permanent placement service.

Decision Reset Session

A one-off advisory session for families who want to step back, clarify priorities, and approach childcare decisions with greater confidence before committing to a full placement.
Designed to help families:

  • Reframe decision-making with clarity
  • Define key non-negotiables
  • Reduce the likelihood of repeating unhelpful patterns in childcare choices

If you move forward with the full placement service within 14 days, £150 will be credited toward the placement fee.

Guarantee & Boundaries

Placements are guided by pre-agreed criteria under the SteadySteps SEND Fit Standard.

If a placement does not meet the agreed standard during the trial period, the process may continue in line with the replacement terms outlined in your Placement Agreement.

Honest and complete disclosure during intake is essential. This helps protect your child, the nanny, and the integrity of the placement process.

Families act as the legal employer. SteadySteps introduces qualified nannies based on your needs, while employment arrangements are managed directly by the family.

SteadySteps does not operate through automated matching or high-volume placement models. The process is designed to prioritise careful assessment, clear expectations, and stable placements.
